They show it using 44 kilograms (97 lb) shells with a range of 18,000 metres.Also a restored artillery piece at the Batterie Lothringen was one of the three naval batties named after conquests of the the Franco-Pruisian War of 1870-71.The artillery piece was recoverd in 1992 |
