The  Fuchsbau in 1942, was  placed under the control of the SSFührungshauptamt The Führerhauptquartier OST – Führer Headquarters EAST – became: “Wolfsschanze – Wolf’s Lair – and the Fuchsbau as SS SD Intelligence Headquarters became: “Hegewald”. According to reports, direct communication links were switched to the OKW at Zossen and the Wolf’s Lair via the Fuchsbau Bunker The Fuchsbau’s surface buildings were partially destroyed by the Red Army in May 1945 and looted over the years by people living in the area. The abandoned bunker was left open between 1945 and 1956 The Air Forces and Air Defenses Command (Luftstreitkräfte/ Luftverteidigung, LSK/LV) of the NVA took over operations in 1962 and finished construction in 1964.In March/ April 1964 the German Post, Signal Amplification Department (renamed later Transmission Center II) went into service. The outfitting for intelligence operations was completed in 1965 and control was handed over to the military. The Air Forces and Air Defenses Command NVA took over full control on 16 July 1965.  For more info please see link below.
